About me - professionally...

Siddhartha Shrestha, a MBA from Kathmandu University, is a successful executive presently working as the Chief of Communication, Advocacy and Partnerships for UNICEF Rwanda Country Office.
Prior to the he was working in South Sudan as the  UNICEF Head of Communications. His other previous assignments included the position of Communication for Development (C4D) Specialist in Ghana responsible for managing the entire communication efforts of UNICEF Ghana - both External and Communication for Development (C4D).
He has also worked for UNICEF Pacific Office, Fiji Islands as a Programme Communication Specialist to support the conceptualization, development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of communication strategies for the Avian and Pandemic Influenza preparedness project in five Pacific Island countries, a multi-country program including research, training and simulation for a pandemic. He is a trained facilitator, adept at developing materials for all target groups of the population.

Other than UNICEF, his other experiences include a Behaviour Change Communication/Social Marketing Consultant for FHI360/USAID and with Population Services International [PSI] in the capacity of a Behaviour Communication Change [BCC] Manager designing, developing and managing the BCC efforts of the organisation.
A product of St. Joseph's School, North Point, Darjeeling, Siddhartha (Sid) Shrestha studied his Bachelors in Commerce (Business Studies) from Symbiosis International College, India and completed his MBA from KU with specialization in social marketing and advertising. He also has completed a Leadership Development Programme from INSEAD Business School and recently a Dynamic Leadership course from Harvard University.
